Cyprus Foundations Administration Celebrates 452nd Anniversary
The Cyprus Foundations Administration recently celebrated its 452nd anniversary in a ceremony held in its garden. The event was also dedicated to the 67th anniversary of the administration’s takeover by the Turkish Cypriot people after the British relinquished control.
The Manager of the Administrative Affairs Branch of the Foundations Administration, Yeliz Kaymakamzade, delivered a speech on the significance of the day. District Governor of Cyprus, who was also present at the event, paid tribute to Dr. Fazıl Küçük, the late leader, his comrades, and those who contributed to the struggle.
A moment of silence was observed for the departed members of the foundation, followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at the Atatürk Bust. The ceremony was a necessary reminder of the organization’s long history and significance.
