Baby Protected: Infant CY Taken Under Care After Being Found with Traces of Trauma
In a concerning incident, infant CY was found with traces of trauma and injury during her first examination. The baby had vascular access marks on her right hand, right and left ankles, along with blood accumulation due to an impact on her head.
The baby was immediately taken under care and protection at the Sheikh Zayed Children’s Homes Complex, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Family and Social Services. Meanwhile, the parents of the baby were detained and released on judicial control after their statements were taken by the prosecutor’s office.
The baby is expected to take three days to recover, after which she will be discharged from the hospital. It is a relief that the baby was found and taken under proper care and supervision, and we hope that she recovers fully and goes on to lead a healthy and happy life.
