Bahçeli’s urgent message in Diyarbakır on May 14
The Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Devlet Bahceli, attended the Earthquake Houses Groundbreaking and Turnkey Ceremony of 1432 houses and 17 shops in Diyarbakir. During his speech, Bahceli emphasized the importance of solving the problems caused by the 6 February earthquake disaster.
Bahceli stated that on February 6, Turkey experienced a rare disaster that claimed the lives of more than 50,000 people. He added that the debris should have been cleared, shelter needs addressed, and nutrition needs met with determination. However, President Erdogan and his staff took determined actions against the disaster, and the lives of citizens have started to normalize in many regions of the country within 67 days of the earthquake.
Bahceli declared that the presidential government system will continue without interruption, as people will elect a President on May 14. He noted that no matter what anyone’s thoughts were until yesterday, it is time for determination and not to cut the road.
The groundbreaking ceremony was held to provide housing for those who lost their homes during the earthquake. The project includes the construction of 1432 houses and 17 shops to help the citizens of Diyarbakir and other affected areas rebuild their lives.
In addition to the Ceremonial event, the Turkish President Erdogan stated recently that there is no place for a Turkey photo with a white Taurus. His statement underlines the importance of prioritizing the needs of the people over symbolic acts.
The efforts by the government and organizations to solve the problems caused by the earthquake demonstrate the importance of coming together in difficult times to create solutions for those who have been affected.
