Cooperation protocol signed between SSTB and Kuzey Kıbrıs Turkcell

A solidarity, information sharing and cooperation protocol was signed between the Civil Defense Organization Presidency (SSTB) and Kuzey Kıbrıs Turkcell.

At the signing ceremony, cooperation was made with the desire to organize joint events, provide institutional support, develop cooperation in national and international fields, and further develop communication cooperation in case of emergency, war, disaster and emergency.

President Atilla Karaca on behalf of the Civil Defense Organization and General Manager Murat Küçüközdemir on behalf of Kuzey Kıbrıs Turkcell signed the cooperation protocol. Within the scope of the protocol, the personnel of the Civil Defense Organization will provide training to the Northern Cyprus Turkcell personnel and ensure that they benefit from the materials, tools and equipment in the training areas they need.

Kuzey Kıbrıs Turkcell will also provide communication support to the Civil Defense Organization through the mobile base station it will place on the Radyo Vatan mobile broadcasting vehicle in case of emergency and disasters.

Within the scope of the protocol, 101 Civil Defense Emergency Buttons will be placed on the Northern Cyprus TurkcellBiP application and announcements and informative content regarding disasters and emergencies will be shared via the Radio Vatan channel to be established on BIP.

On the other hand, Kuzey Kıbrıs Turkcell General Manager Murat Küçüközdemir donated 710 saplings on behalf of the company on behalf of 71 Civil Defense personnel who participated in the search and rescue efforts in the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş and presented a certificate to President Karaca in this context. After the signing ceremony, Kuzey Kıbrıs Turkcell officials toured the Civil Defense vehicle park and received information from the search and rescue personnel about the emergency response vehicles.
