Get to know Istanbul’s 28th term parliamentary candidates from AK Party, CHP, MHP, IYI Party, and Green Left Party!
Parliamentary candidates for the Istanbul 1st district elections were revealed by political parties after submitting their lists to the Supreme Election Board. The final candidate lists will be announced by the YSK on April 19 after any necessary corrections. The districts included in the 1st electoral district of Istanbul are Islands, Ataşehir, Beykoz, Çekmeköy, Kadıköy, Kartal, Maltepe, Pendik, Sancaktepe, Sultanbeyli, Şile, Tuzla, Ümraniye, and Üsküdar.
The AK Party, CHP, MHP, IYI Party, and Green Left Party provided their lists of candidates for the upcoming parliamentary elections taking place on May 14, 2023. The list of candidates for the AK Party includes 35 names, with Murat Institution at the top of the list. CHP has 35 candidates as well, led by Oguz Kaan Release. The MHP has 35 candidates with Edip Semih Yalcin as the top candidate. The Good Party has 35 candidates with Nimet Ozdemir leading the list, and the Green Left Party has 35 candidates with Sirri Sureyya Onder leading.
