MSB shares visit dates and times for TCG Anadolu ship opening.
The world’s first armed unmanned aerial vehicle (SİHA) and Turkey’s largest military ship, TCG Anadolu, docked at Sarayburnu Port in Istanbul on April 16. It was received with great interest by citizens who recorded and took pictures of the ship from various points in the city such as Sarayburnu Park, Eminonu, Galata Bridge, and Karakoy. Some even made video calls to their relatives to show the impressive vessel.
The TCG Anadolu, which was recently put into service, will be open to the public in Istanbul from April 17-23. According to a statement by the Ministry of National Defense (MSB) on social media, the ship will be open to visitors from 13:00-18:00 on April 17 and from 10:00-18:00 on April 18, 19, 21, 22, and 23.
The MSB also mentioned that the TCG Anadolu will sail through the Bosphorus on April 24 to greet citizens. This is an opportunity for people to witness the capabilities of modern naval technology up close and appreciate the hard work done by the Turkish Navy.
The TCG Anadolu is a powerful symbol of Turkey’s military strength and technological advancement. The ship can carry up to 12 helicopters and eight unmanned aerial vehicles, making it a valuable asset for the country’s defense.
