Increased Energy Production Capacity in Teknecik Eliminates Planned Outages, According to Kıb-Tek General Manager
Dalman Aydın, the general manager of Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (Kıb-Tek), has revealed that there will be no planned power outages in the region after the energy production capacity in Teknecik was increased to 90 Megawatts. Aydın informed a TAK reporter that there would only be power outages due to local faults and pointed out that electricity could not be supplied to some regions as El-Sen did not intervene in local faults and secure the region. Aydın emphasized that the blackouts in regions without electricity were not caused by Kıb-Tek.
