Special Ops Police Help Bust Death Gang
Police in Istanbul have detained 131 members of a criminal organization involved in murders, drug trafficking, and other illegal activities. Barış Neck, the gang leader, had been in hiding in Georgia and Italy, but was arrested by Interpol in Italy. His arrest triggered the arrest and imprisonment of his men in Istanbul. The gang had been involved in various illegal activities, including drug trafficking, and carried out armed attacks on rivals.
The police operation to apprehend the gang members lasted for months and was supported by special operations police. The successful operation has put an end to the criminal organization’s activities and ensured the safety of the public.
