«Togg, the Turkish Car, Hits the Streets of Vienna!»
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu visited Austria to hold talks with his Austrian counterpart, Alexander Schallenberg. The two ministers discussed economic, commercial and cultural cooperation, as well as the current situations in Ukraine, Syria and the South Caucasus.
During his meeting with Schallenberg, Çavuşoğlu arrived in Turkey’s first domestic car, Togg. The Austrian counterpart was intrigued by Togg and was informed about the car after the meeting. Çavuşoğlu then toured the streets of Vienna with Togg, and drew attention from the citizens of Vienna.
Çavuşoğlu expressed his pride in the high level of interest in Togg, stating that it suits the nation and state in the second century of the Turkish Republic, also known as the Turkish century. He also mentioned that, like in Turkey, the citizens abroad have an interest in their domestic and national vehicle.
The Turkish Foreign Minister appreciated the Austrian earthquake assistance and expressed his willingness to continue cooperation in the future. The Austrian Foreign Minister, Schallenberg, also emphasized the importance of maintaining open channels of communication between the two countries.
